Jiangwanzhen Sub-district Sets up Railway Patrol Team

The Jiangwanzhen Sub-district has set up a railway patrol team lately, in order to maintain the surrounding security environment, enhance the awareness of the nearby residents to protect the railways, and ensure the smooth operation of railways.

The members of the patrol team are mainly composed of the deputy directors of the Sub-district Safety Office, the deputy directors of the Beijiao Railway Police Station, the comprehensive governance and social security team, and the volunteers of the neighborhood committees along the railway. They will take on the tasks, including the inspection on the railways and railway crossings, the publicity of the railway safety knowledge, and the investigation on potential hazards on the railway lines. In order to improve the maneuverability and timeliness of the patrol team, the District Politics and Law Committee offers the team 14 patrol electric bikes.
