Founded in October 1999 and listed on December 18, 2009 in Shenzhen SME board, Shanghai Pret Composites Co., Ltd. mainly engages in the R&D, production, sales, and service of automotive modified plastics products. After listing, the group established three wholly owned subsidiaries, namely Shanghai Pret New Chemical Materials Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Pret New Materials Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Pret New Materials Co., Ltd. At present, Zhejiang Pret New Materials Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Pret New Chemical Materials Co., Ltd. have been fully put into operation and Chongqing Pret New Materials Co., Ltd. is under construction. It is estimated that the Chongqing subsidiary will be put into trial production in July, 2014.
Focusing on the production of automotive modified plastics products, the group produces leading products with advanced technology in China. The products are mainly supplied into auto parts manufacturers. The group has established business cooperation relationship with BMW, Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, FAW - Volkswagen, Ford and many other well-known domestic automobile manufacturers and has become important cooperation partner of many multinational enterprises including Ford and GM in America. The group has realized high speed development since its foundation with an average annual compound growth rate of over 30%. In 2012, the annual sales of the group exceeded 1 billion for the first time, reaching 1.2 billion. It is expected that the sales income of 2013 will surpass 1.6 billion Yuan.
