Beiwantan Sub-district Celebrates Birthday for Senior Citizens

On July 2, Beiwaitan Sub-district held a birthday party for 19 senior citizens whose birthdays are in July. They celebrated their birthdays in the first citizen’s activity center of Beiwantan Sub-district and had a happy day.

On the birthday party, community volunteers sang and danced for senior citizens. Senior citizen’s children sent birthday greetings to their parents. Kids from the community sent a Chinese character, “Shou” (longevity), to senior citizens as a gift, and sang a song, “Happy Birthday to You”. Volunteers took pictures for senior citizens blowing out candles and eating cakes, and kept long-lasting memory for this joyful moment.
