On May 4, the “Peter in China” Personal Exhibition of Peter Riezebos (a Dutch artist) was held in Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art.
Peter Riezebos suffered from cognition disorder in his childhood, while he gradually found himself in learning drawing. He consistently drew and scrawled, and finally became a passionate artist. His works are characterized by strong colors and a lot of lines, which was called “existentialist lines” by him. After coming to China, he began to like Chinese culture and created Dragon and The Monkey King featured with Chinese elements.
It is learnt that the “Peter in China” Exhibition was his first personal exhibition in Shanghai and China, which showed the Netherlander’s all kinds of works created in China from 2014 to 2017. The exhibition will last till May 25.
