4th North Bund Wealth Culture Forum Held in Hongkou

On the afternoon of March 23, the 4th North Bund Wealth and Culture Forum with the theme of “Deep Reform @ Mobile Internet Era” was held at Shanghai Astor House Hotel. At such a high-level information exchange platform in both the financial circle and the cultural circle, the guests have exchanged views on topics including internet finance, market reform, and wealth allocation. Nearly 200 authorities and professional elites from the financial, cultural, and media circles have attended the forum. The forum is organized by the Centre of International Cultural Exchange of the Ministry of Culture, the Research Center of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the Development Research Center of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, the Shanghai Financial Services Office, and Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & TV, and it is undertaken by the Development & Research Center of the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and the Hongkou District People’s Government.

Li Wuwei, Deputy Chairman of the 11th CPPCC National Committee, Pan Gongsheng, Vice President of the People’s Bank of China, and Huang Hongyuan, President of the SSE, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The opening ceremony was presided over by Cao Liqiang, Deputy Chief of the Hongkou District Party Committee and District Governor, and it comprised keynote speeches and theme dialogues. The keynote speeches were presided over by Zheng Yang, Chief of the Shanghai Financial Services Office, during which such celebrities as Liang Xinjun, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fosun Group, Qiu Guogen, Chairman of Shanghai Chongyang Investment Management Co., Ltd., Guo Yunzhao, Vice President of China Jianyin Investment Co., Ltd., and Qi Bin, Chief of the Research Center of the CSRC and Executive President of Beijing Institute of Securities and Futures made their keynote speeches. And the theme dialogues were presided over by Qin Shuo, Vice President of SMG and Editor in Chief of China Business News, and Yang Kaisheng, Special Advisor of the China Banking Regulatory Commission and former president of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Zheng Yang, Xiao Feng, Deputy Chairman of China Wanxiang Holding Co., Ltd., and Luo Yuming, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of Fudan University participated in the communication and exchange.

Wu Qing, District Party Chief, Guan Weiyong, Chairman of the Hongkou District CPPCC, Du Jiong, Deputy District Party Chief, and other officials of the District Party Committee, the District People’s Congress, the District People’s Government, and the CPPCC District Committee also attended the forum.
