The closing ceremony of the 4th College Students’ Scientific and Technological Innovation Entrepreneurship (STIE) Competition was held in the Science Park, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics on the morning of December 26. Excellent project teams were presented awards, and they would move into the Business Incubator Base of the Science Park and go after their dreams.
The innovation business contest began on late May and over 12,300 college students signed up for the contest. Effective programs amounted to 65 and the official website site got 230,000 page viewers, according to the statistics.
After fierce competition and strict selection, ten project teams stood out among thousands of creative contestants. The idea of building a seller management platform on mobile phones, providing automatic cleaning service for tall buildings and establishing Nonpanda animation brands drew great attention. According to the contest rule, excellent business start-up projects would get RMB700,000 venture fund granted by the Science and Technology Committee of Hongkou District.
Customized one-to-one tutoring was formed between team representatives and their business advisors. Following the contracts, advisors should provide professional guidance and suggestions to help the smooth development of startups.
