Top 10 Outstanding Youth of Hongkou Unveils

On November 28, the selection of the 6th “Top 10 Outstanding Youth of Hongkou” was ended successively, with ten talented young persons standing out of fierce competitions through making speeches, defending and on-site voting and being rewarded “Top 10 Outstanding Youth of Hongkou”. They are Bian Hua, Liu Lei, Li Fangming, Wu Qiangqiang, Chen Shangyun, Lin Yiwen, Zhao Xinhong, Xu Yi, Xu Kaili and Huang Hui. Du Jiong, Deputy District Party Chief, attended and addressed the activity. Zhao Liang, Deputy Chief of China Communist Youth League Shanghai Committee, and Chu Min, Party Chief of Shanghai Youth Management Institute and Deputy Standing President, attended the assessment activity and awarded the outstanding young persons. During the activity, there were also 5 winners of “Talented Youth of Hongkou”.

The 6th “Top 10 Outstanding Youth of Hongkou”, co-held by the China Communist Youth League Hongkou District Committee and the Hongkou District Youth Federation, was unveiled on June this year. Since launched, the activity has attracted attentions from all walks of life and active responses from the vast variety of young people. The election, accessible for outstanding youth from all circles around the district, covered all walks of life, mainly aims at recommending, building and publicizing the young models who had made outstanding performances and major contributions in the economic and social constructions of Hongkou.
