The “Changyuan Urban Beauty in Her Eyes” – 2nd Shanghai Photography Exhibition by Female Journalists was opened at Hongkou Longemont Plaza on the afternoon of November 12. Song Chao, Chairman of the Shanghai Organization of Journalists, President of the Shanghai Press Institute, and Dean of the Fudan Journalism School, announced the opening of the Exhibition. Li Yun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai News Group and Secretary of the Party Committee of the Jiefang Daily, and He Xianglian, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Shanghai News Group attended the opening ceremony. Liu Ke, Standing Member of the CPC Hongkou District Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC District Committee, delivered a speech.
The 80 works displayed at this Photography Exhibition (Hongkou Session) all reflect the profound historical and cultural heritage of Hongkou District, the colorful urban life, and the vigorous development vitality. Female journalists in Shanghai have, from their female perspective and with their sharp eyes, recorded the scientific development of each passing day of Hongkou and many of these works are of unique perspective and urban characteristics and present discoverability, contemporaneity, and newsiness. The theme part of “Lives in Old Streets of Hongkou” has been specially set up, showing the plain, lovely, and warm moments in the daily life of people living in the old street.
The Exhibition was jointly organized by the female Journalists Working Committee of the Shanghai Organization for Journalism and the Publicity Department of the CPC Hongkou District Committee and fully supported by Changyuan Group.
