The low-altitude economy, characterized by its rapid growth, has become a major focus of national policy, being included in the "National Integrated Transport Network Development Plan" and highlighted in key government reports.
The development has generated significant attention and momentum for industries operating in the airspace beneath 1,000 meters, including drones, air taxis, and other aerospace technologies.
The forum, themed "Low-Altitude Start, Win the Future," aimed to leverage Hongkou’s strengths in finance and technology to fuel the development of the low-altitude economy.
The event focused on the creation of a low-altitude industry alliance, which will help inject new vitality into the sector and foster the establishment of a dynamic low-altitude economic ecosystem in the region.
During the forum, the Youshiyongfeng-Hongkou Low-Altitude Incubation Camp was unveiled. The project is designed to provide critical support to startups, offering services such as technical guidance, market connections, and financial backing.
It will play a pivotal role in helping Hongkou build a robust low-altitude industry ecosystem.
The venture capital fund was also launched, aimed at accelerating the commercialization of innovative technologies and nurturing low-altitude economy enterprises.
The forum also saw the signing of agreements for eight key industry projects, spanning fields such as low-altitude economy, fintech, and industrial investment.
These new agreements are expected to significantly contribute to the economic growth of Hongkou, as they bring in diversified industries and expand the district’s economic footprint.
Low-altitude economy, driven by innovation, green ecology, and data integration, is rapidly becoming a key pillar of new productivity.
Hongkou is actively cultivating industries such as digital economy, green and low-carbon technologies, and spatial information.
By optimizing the policy environment, fostering industry-academic-research collaboration, gathering innovation resources, and establishing safety and regulatory systems, Hongkou is accelerating the development of a strong industrial chain in low-altitude economy. The district aims to build an innovation ecosystem that can lead the nation in this dynamic field.
