The Yangtze River Delta Public Employment Service Demonstration Project Exhibition and Shanghai Human Resources Collaboration Fair were held at the Expo Exhibition Hall on August 28.
The event was co-hosted by the Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Shanghai Government Cooperation and Exchange Office, and the Hongkou District People's Government.
The fair included a grand opening ceremony and the launch of the 2024 Graduate Employment Service Campaign.
In 2023, Hongkou's "'Le Ye Hongkou' 15-Minute Smart Employment Service Circle" was recognized as a national public employment service demonstration project, making it the first of its kind in Shanghai to achieve this status.
During the event, Hongkou released the "Community Employment Service Station Construction and Service Standards" for its 15-Minute Employment Service Circle.
During a session focused on showcasing outstanding public employment service cases from the Yangtze River Delta, Hongkou shared its achievements in enhancing public employment services.
Over the past year, Hongkou has fully implemented the "employment-first" strategy, prioritizing high-quality and full employment as a core goal in its development of the "Shanghai North Bund, Urban New Benchmark" project.
By focusing on enhancing public employment services, the district has been working to create a vibrant talent hub and human resources industry cluster.
Hongkou District, known for its central location and high population density, has established a comprehensive "15-Minute Employment Service Circle," featuring 39 service stations located within community parks, office buildings, and commercial areas.
This initiative forms a convenient and accessible employment service network. The district has also introduced the nation's first district-level standards for service station construction, providing clear guidelines on construction, management, service delivery, and performance evaluation.
Hongkou has further strengthened its efforts to connect job seekers and employers, offering targeted services that help new graduates expand their job search, support entrepreneurs in growing their networks, and assist vulnerable groups in securing stable employment.
Utilizing Shanghai's "One-Stop Service," "Unified Management," and "Unified Coordination" platforms, Hongkou has developed the "Le Ye Hongkou" smart employment information system, which has successfully facilitated the reemployment of nearly 10,000 unemployed individuals.
In addition to expanding the physical employment service network, Hongkou is building a digital employment empowerment platform.
This platform integrates functions like job searching, training appointments, entrepreneurship support, policy inquiries, and subsidy applications.
It combines online and offline services, driven by professional enhancements, collaborative service teams, and social participation, aiming to improve the quality and efficiency of employment services.
The event also featured the signing of the Yangtze River Delta Public Employment Service Alliance Agreement and several HR collaboration agreements.
