The 2024 "Shanghai Summer" International Consumption Season Hongkou Series and the Fifth Shanghai Trendy Life Festival launched at the INLET on July 12. With the summer night breeze, Hongkou is set to spark another wave of shopping excitement.
This year's Shanghai Trendy Life Festival leverages the newly created "Shanghai Summer" International Consumption Season, a city-wide summer consumption promotion event.
The festival focuses on four major themes: international, technology, design, and performance, attracting numerous well-known domestic and international brands. Panasonic Group, BOSE, Shanghai Jahwa, Aptar and DEWU, among others, set up themed booths at the INLET to showcase new trendy products and host a trendy market.
Consumers can experience Bose's classic noise-canceling technology, Shanghai Jahwa's AI skin testing device, Panasonic's multi-scene home appliances, and DEWU's 3D innovation application "Sneaker Museum" through the Apple Vision Pro headset. These activities highlight Hongkou's diverse and open trend features.
During the event, the Binjiang Commercial Center, a key trendy store carrier in Hongkou, signed agreements with pop and cultural brands. The commercial center will introduce a 5,000-square-meter Chaoshan food city that combines gourmet food and intangible cultural heritage experiences, allowing citizens to enjoy authentic Chaoshan cuisine in Hongkou.
The Binjiang Commercial Center's second phase, a new commercial area of 110,000 square meters, will have a soft opening in mid-December.
It will follow the core concept of "Entertainment, Culture, Tourism, Commerce - What a Wonderful Life!" The area will be divided into sections such as the Binjiang Performing Arts Center, Entertainment Sports Community, Trendy Travel Community, 24H Food Community, Youth Creativity Community, New Brand Community, Sustainable Fashion Community, and Circle Universe Community.
It will offer a new experiential consumption space integrating entertainment culture, new retail crossovers, and multi-scene dining.
The first phase of the Binjiang Commercial Center, the INLET, has already become a landmark of Haipai (Shanghai-style) trends in the city. This project, invested, developed, and operated by Chongbang Group in Hongkou, continues to attract attention.
The district's Commerce Commission announced that during this year's Shanghai Trendy Life Festival, Hongkou will launch various activities integrating business, tourism, culture, and sports to create an online-offline integrated summer shopping craze.
Online, Shanghai Jahwa and Ruo Yuchen will release new products, Suning.com will launch a green appliance "four-fold subsidy" campaign, and Aptar will introduce sustainable green packaging products.
Offline, from summer vacation to National Day, Hongkou will host a series of exciting events. Raffles City The Bund will feature a Stitch-themed pop-up, Ruihong Tiandi will collaborate with Decathlon to host a parent-child Olympics and summer sports, and the Sinar Mas Plaza will present a Crayon Shin-chan movie-themed pop-up in cooperation with AI.
