A series of key AI projects in Shanghai were signed at the 2024 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. Deputy District Director Chen Shuai attended the event and officially signed an agreement with Digital Communication Group (DCG).
DCG’s self-developed AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) large model for the publishing industry, BOOKSGPT, serves as the technical foundation for the "AI Editorial Studio" project, leading the publishing industry into a new era of artificial intelligence.
The project, with an investment of nearly 3.5 billion yuan, includes 15 distinctive AI editors covering various business scenarios from topic selection and content production to editing, proofreading, and book marketing.
The "AI Editorial Studio" project features AI editors such as AI topic planning editors, AI authors, AI illustrators, and AI proofreading teams. These AI editors not only deeply participate in the entire editing process but also help the publishing industry achieve quality improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement through efficient and intelligent methods.
For instance, the AI illustrator, trained on a vast amount of cover and illustration data, can accurately generate cover designs, illustrations, and various creative designs that meet publishing standards.
The AI can handle 13 scenarios and over 300 unique styles. The project supports secondary creation, allowing users to redraw or remove specific parts of generated images, significantly improving design efficiency and precision.
The project boasts three major highlights:
1. Advanced Technical Foundation
The self-developed large model for the publishing industry is the core technology of the project. It excels in data processing, content understanding, and recommendation algorithms, providing a competitive edge that is difficult to replicate. The model can handle multiple types of data, including text and images, offering intelligent support across all stages of the publishing process.
2. Full-Service Capability
The platform covers the entire publishing chain, from topic selection, content creation, and thorough editing to marketing and reader services. Driven by a large language model, it ensures efficient collaboration and intelligent handling across all stages. This automation significantly boosts the efficiency of the publishing process, offering one-stop technical support and services to publishing units.
3. Flexibility and Scalability
Built on a large model, the platform can quickly respond to market changes and adjust service strategies according to user needs. This flexibility allows the project to maintain a leading position in a competitive market.
The AI Editorial Studio project signifies a significant leap forward for the publishing industry, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to enhance and streamline the entire editorial process.
