Hongkou District has attracted six high-tech "little giant" enterprises, each poised to revolutionize their industries with robust development potential.
"Little giant" enterprises refer to small businesses that are in the early stages of growth, demonstrating good performance, substantial potential for development, and significant value for nurturing.
These companies are part of an initiative to drive the innovation-led transformation development strategy and support Shanghai's ambition to become a globally influential science and innovation hub.
Since the introduction of the "Hongkou District Little Giant Enterprises Implementation Measures" in 2007, the district’s science, technology and information commission has nurtured 16 city-level little giant Enterprises, and 75 district-level little giants. They’ve greatly enhanced the innovation capabilities and competitive strength of key tech companies in the district, the commission said.
