On October 10, the closing ceremony of the 1st Shanghai Legal Culture Festival, themed "Bringing All Talents into Shanghai and Making Shanghai Prosperous with Laws and Regulations" and jointly hosted by the Rule of Law Office of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee Publicity Department and the Shanghai Municipal Law Publicity Office, was held at the North Bund of Hongkou.
Pan Min, Deputy Publicity Director of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Deputy Head of the Coordination Group for Law Abiding and Popularizing of the Rule of Law Office of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Lu Weidong, Party Chief and Director of Shanghai Justice Bureau, Deputy Director of the Rule of Law Office of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Deputy Leader of the Coordination Group for Law Abiding and Popularizing of the Rule of Law Office of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, Lu Ming, Deputy Party Chief of the Hongkou District Party Committee and Acting District Governor, and Li Boping, Party Chief of the Party Committee and General Manager of Shanghai Branch of China Post Group, jointly unveiled the personalized theme commemorative envelope of the 1st Shanghai Legal Culture Festival.
Also attending were Luo Peixin, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of Shanghai Municipal Justice Bureau, Wu Qiang, Standing Member and Publicity Director of the CPC Hongkou District Committee, and Head of the Coordination Group for Law Abiding and Popularizing of the Rule of Law Committee of the CPC Hongkou District Committee, Xuan Yizhou, Standing Member of the CPC Hongkou District Committee and Party Chief of the Political and Legal Committee, and Shi Weidong, Deputy Chief of the Party Group and Full-time Vice President of the Shanghai Municipal Law Society.
At the closing ceremony, the Jingwu martial arts, selected and presented by the Law Publicity Office of Hongkou District and performed by coaches of the Shanghai Jingwu Sports Federation, described the spirit of rule of law in the national intangible cultural heritage.
Echoing it, Bai Zufang, Party Chief of the Wukang Neighborhood Committee of Hunan Road Sub-district, Xuhui District, brought the "Shanghai Story", which told the "French" style romance in the Wukang Building, and described the stability and harmony brought by the rule of law to the life in the internet celebrity attraction. The performance of the closing ceremony was broadcast live in the whole process, and the public participated online.
It is learnt that in the one month since the opening on September 8, the 1st Shanghai Legal Culture Festival successfully completed 7 major themes and 35 municipal key projects, with the activities with legal culture characteristics flourish in all districts of Shanghai. The wonderful closing ceremony performance, as a "collection" of fine works of Shanghai's rule of law culture, drew a complete end to the cultural festival.
