Recently, it is learned from the relevant department that Sinar Mas Plaza, as the office and business building boasting of one hundred million tax in a month, performed well in the first half of the year. Its annual tax revenue is expected to exceed two billion yuan.
As the leader of the office and business buildings at the North Bund, Sinar Mas Plaza has continuously burst new vitality and achieved new performance in the past two years. Its headquarters settle at the North Bund in 2020, helping to improve the office and business building economy. Meanwhile, high-quality enterprises such as Gaosi Cosmetics, BMW Asia Pacific R&D Center, Nissan Automobile, and East & Concord Partners have been introduced, and they actively cooperated with the government to carry out the high-quality enterprise homecoming plan. A batch of important enterprises such as Caitong Securities Co., Ltd., Zijin Mining Group Company Limited, Hongyuan Hengli (Shanghai) Industrial Co., Ltd. and Viking Youlu Cruise (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. were attracted to move back with the excellent office quality. In the first half of this year, the tax revenue of Sinar Mas Plaza has exceeded 1.2 billion yuan. The three-level tax revenue has achieved a year-on-year increase of 77.6%. The district-level tax revenue has increased by 100.21% year-on-year, and the district-level output per unit area has increased by 95.45% compared with the same period of the year before.
Through the continuous exploration in the process of investment promotion in recent years, Sinar Mas Plaza has formed a unique system. What attracts many enterprises is that there is the Sinar Mas Plaza Party-Mass Service Station on the 20th floor, a better platform built by the building owner and relevant government departments to provide white-collars with an activity space to rest and handle government affairs, creating a good business environment for the enterprises.

It is learnt that Hongkou's office and business building economy rose against the trend in the first half of the year, with the tax contribution of Sinar Mas Plaza growing more than twice year-on-year, accounting for nearly 90% of the total building tax.
