September 3 is the 76th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japan and the World Anti-fascist War. The Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum invited officials and friends of the Consulates General of Israel, Austria, Poland and other countries in Shanghai to visit, discuss, and watch the documentary video of the “Survivals in Shanghai”.
The “Survivals in Shanghai” is a documentary video funded by CP Group. It restores that the special historical period in the perspective of Jewish refugees and Chinese locals, which is of high historical value and enlightening significance.
Founded in 2007, the museum tells the touching stories of 161 former Jewish refugees during their refuge in Shanghai, with more than 1000 exhibits on display. The museum has been committed to the collection of historical materials. It hopes to strengthen contacts with agencies and friendly people in relevant countries and collect more valuable historical materials, so as to display the special history more comprehensively.
