Hongkou Police Publicize Traffic Safety to Elders

On the eve of the Double Ninth Festival, the Hongkou Representative Office of the Shanghai Foundation for the Aged and the Traffic Police Detachment of Hongkou Public Security Sub-bureau held a publicity day themed with "Life Foremost, Safe Travel" at the Jiangwan Town Culture Activity Center.

The elders’ representative read out the traffic safety declaration, and a district elder volunteer team of traffic safety was built. The police specially publicized the laws of traffic safety for the elders. Thanks to the case analysis, data interpretation, safety tips and so on, the elders present realized the importance of obeying the laws for a happy life.

After that, the elder volunteers also guided pedestrians on the roads to advocate civilized traffic and safety foremost.
