Public Health Popularization Week Launched

Shanghai General Hospital launched the "Public Health Popularization Week" at both Hongkou Division and Songjiang Division on September 1.

At Hongkou Division, Zhou Xin, the head of the respiratory department and head of the first aid-Wuhan medical team in Shanghai, shared the experience to fight against SARS and COVID-19 and join the treatment of infectious respiratory diseases. Wang Ruilan, an expert of the third medical team and director of the emergency critical care department, began with the experience of aiding Hubei, and then shared scientific knowledge, symptoms and prevention methods of other two bacteria in daily life under the regular COVID-19 control.

At the same time, Zheng Junhua, Vice President of Shanghai General Hospital, reviewed the story of working in Jinyintan Hospital for 67 days as the head of the first medical team, reproduced the medical team’s selfless dedication with touching stories, and encouraged students to study hard and join our homeland construction with medical professionalism.

After the popular science, Shanghai General Hospital will launch the "Public Health Popularization Week" and "Hospital Open Day", to show its work details, and to further publicize the knowledge of epidemic prevention and disease resistance.
