The national college entrance examination (NCEE) in 2020 was held as promised on July 7. In order to ensure a safe and orderly NCEE, Hongkou police have conducted a centralized inspection for the examination rooms in advance, including the equipment in the examination rooms, the security equipment, the storage place for examination paper, as well as the public security environment around the examination room, and the road environment.
Carrying out necessary drills, the police work with the departments of COVID-19 control and the sub-districts this year to assist the NCEE site in setting up examination areas, entrances, passageways (including rescue paths), waiting areas, bulletin boards, and exit channels that may cause the gathering of people. According to the actual situation, it is orderly outside the examination room as well.
Hongkou has four examination sites set up for the NCEE this year, which are located at No. 1 Middle School Affiliated to Central China Normal University, Beijiao Nigh School, Fuxing High School and Nanhu Vocational School.
In order to prevent examinees from getting into wrong examination room and solve parking difficulties and other problems, the police issue travel tips, warning of abnormal weather and parking guidance upon official WeChat account and Weibo account, in a bid to offer necessary information for examinees and their parents. Besides, the traffic police department opens temporary parking lots according to the conditions around the examination sites, so the parents must follow the requirement to avoid illegal parking.
