Rainbow Harbor Mocuili Community Occupied

“We used to live in a small and dilapidated house on Old Hongzhen Street, now it is dreamlike that we move into such a new and beautiful house," said Yue Xinhua who got the key to Rainbow Harbor phase IV housing of Mocuili Community a few days ago, and other 18 households got the keys to their new house too. Due to the outbreak, the new houses will be handed over in a smooth and orderly way, which will be handled for no more than 20 households per day, according to Zhao Ping, head of the Hongcai Neighborhood Committee of Jiangwan Town Sub-district.

Composed of 4 relatively-independent communities, such as Qiangweili Community, Jinfengli Community, Hongfuli Community and Mocuili Community, the Rainbow Harbor Large Affordable Housing Project covers a total area of 1.05 million square meters. By now, the first three communities have been completed, and the residents have moved in these communities. Built on September 1, 2016, the fourth community is located on the last construction base for large residential area, covers a total area of 365,691 square meters, and ranges from Anfen Road in the north to Hongwan Road in the south, and from Liangcheng Road in the east to South Jiangyang Road in the west.

14 high-rise residential buildings as well as business buildings and functional houses have now been built, of which 7 are prefabricated buildings that are the highest in Shanghai. Upon completion, the fourth community will accommodate 3,607 residents, and have 2,635 parking spaces in total, thus marking the completion of the largest affordable housing base in central Shanghai.

The first batch of residents receive the keys in an orderly manner. For the sake of the residents, the building side, Shanghai Jialingjie Property Management Co., Ltd., and the preparatory group of the Hongcai Neighborhood Committee of Jiangwan Town Sub-district set up a consultancy service booth to offer guidance and give answers to the questions about elderly care, schooling, going to a nursery, medical treatment, etc. The Sub-district handles the registration of all the CPC members, volunteers recruitment and other issues for the residents. Besides, the related parties set up a Colorful-life Market on the site to provide services in terms of banking, online food market, home appliances and decoration for the residents.

Through the joint efforts of the relevant departments at the municipality-level and the district-level, the travel conditions and various public supporting facilities of Rainbow Harbor Housing have been improved significantly. At present, Bus No. 151, Bus No. 108, Bus No. 160 and Bus No. 887 have been opened to the traffic, while Rainbow Harbor Elderly Welfare Home, Changchun Nursing Home, Civic Station, Canteen in Community, Metro Supermarket, Shanghai No. 5 Middle Schooling, and Fuxing Experimental Primary School have been put into use. Further more, Shanghai Fourth People's Hospital, Rainbow Harbor Food Market, and small football fields will be completed and put into use before the end of the year.
