Beiwaitan Sub-district Makes Security Inspection on Little Construction Projects

To improve the security governance of the city and safeguard citizens’ life and property security and city’s operation security, the Beiwaitan Sub-District have carried out the special inspection on little construction projects in process.

It is found during the inspection that three construction sites at 1048 Zhoujiazui Road, 351 Zhapu Road and the crossing of Kunming Road and Baoding Road respectively have started construction without recording and approval, whose security management were in chaos, temporary electricity use did not conform to standards, equipment was not sufficient and overdue, construction workers did not wear safety helmet and those working at high place did not wear safety rope and had no guardians around. The Sub-district required them to stop construction at site and temporarily took over their working instruments together with the City Management Department, urging them to provide relevant license on safety production and handle the construction project recording process.

Before the Spring Festival, the Beiwaitan Sub-district will intensify the joint gridding inspection, actively promote the founding, inspection, hidden danger rectification and other mechanisms of little construction projects in process, and improve the pro-construction recording system, thus completely eradicating the illegal construction of construction teams with no license and earnestly guaranteeing the ordered regional safety production.
