The current drill included fire alarm, personnel evacuation, medical aid, and fire extinguishment. It simulated the fire in an underground garage and relevant personnel called the police and evacuate the people in accordance with the plan. Firefighters and medical workers rushed to the site successively and conducted fire extinguishment and people rescue. The drill lasts about 15 minutes.
Once the underground space catching on fire, it is very difficult to evacuate people and put out the fire and is thus very likely to lead to a heavy casualty. The current drill aimed to further improve the fire emergency plan for underground space, conduct directed fire safety educational activity, and strengthen the fire safety foundation of underground space.
