Qi Jiqiang, deputy head of the North Sichuan Road Sub-district’s “group-renting” remediation workforce, has hosted a special working conference with the police station and housing management office to tackle “group renting”, specifying tasks and requirements for the “post group-renting period”. Property mangers of several upscale residential communities attended the conference.
During the meeting, instructions on rectifying the group renting problem from the city and sub-district governments have been announced. Progress on the issue was also made public.
To facilitate the work after the grand inspection and remediation, Mr. Qi has given three demands:
First, we should enhance the responsibility awareness of gate guards, include the “group renting” prevention as part of their job. They should be highly alert on the arriving and going of building materials to stop those for group room modifications.
Second, we should strengthen the probe into lurking group renting problems. We need to be well informed of the tenant situation and offer timely notice, persuasion while keeping detailed records.
Third, we should improve our supervision on house renting in the residential communities. We need to keep track of the renting business and keep goods records of housing agents and tenants and check out this information in the group-renting database so we can take prompt action to stop people from engaging in group renting.
