Liangcheng Conducts Emergency Fire Control, Civil Defense Evacuation Drill

On September 16, Liangcheng New Village Sub-district conducted the comprehensive fire control and civil defense emergency evacuation drill, with an aim of further enhancing community residents’ awareness on air defense, disaster prevention, and disaster reduction, increasing the ability of handling emergencies, and guarding the safety and stability of the community.

With the ringing of the air-raid alert, all team members gathered rapidly and took their places to organize residents to get into the air defense hidden facilities in order. Afterward, it was reported that a house was on fire. And the on-the-spot commander immediately dispatched the fire suppression team and the emergency rescue team to put out the fire. And it also phoned 119 and then the fire fighting truck arrived and put out the fire on the house.

At site, Liangcheng New Village Sub-district also set up a grid district emergency voluntary service team. Over 450 people from relevant departments and community residents participated in the drill.
