Li Qian, the Party Secretary of Hongkou District, visited the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation on the afternoon of January 15. The visit marked a new chapter in deepening strategic cooperation and understanding the evolving dynamics of the service industry.
Founded in December 2005, the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation has united over 1386 member units across diverse sectors such as finance, technology, and public services.
The non-profit organization has become a melting pot of industry associations and academic societies, showcasing the vibrant spectrum of Shanghai's service sector.
During his visit, Li Qian engaged in a dialogue with Sun Jianping, the executive vice president of the federation. Li expressed gratitude for the federation's unwavering commitment to Hongkou's socio-economic development.
Emphasizing the need for nuanced cooperation, Li Qian advocated for a strategic alignment that leverages both parties' strengths, advocating for innovation, foresight, and a synergy that spans various sectors, including shipping, finance, and technology.

He envisioned an elevated partnership that would not only revolutionize the shipping industry's service system but also contribute significantly to the broader service industry. This collaboration aims to create a more dynamic shipping ecosystem, boosting Hongkou's global presence in the shipping service arena, Sun said.
The alliance between Hongkou and the federation aims to contribute to Shanghai's ambition of becoming a global nexus for modern services, setting benchmarks and charting new pathways for growth.
