On September 13, the North Bund Group and the CEIBS Alumni Finance and Investment Association signed a strategic agreement. At the same time, the first batch of four relocated China-Europe alumni enterprises signed contracts with the North Bund Group. In the next five years, the North Bund of Hongkou will take the "four focuses" as the starting point of its work, strengthen the "four major functions" as its mission, deeply implement the important concept of the people's cities, enhance the allocation of international financial and shipping resources, cultivate new drivers of cross-border integration of cultural creativity + technological innovation, improve first-class spatial environmental quality and public service facilities, and build a new engine for Shanghai's "central radiation", a new landmark that leads the development of the north and south, and a new benchmark for starting from the reform and opening up again. As a functional state-owned enterprise in Hongkou, Shanghai North Bund Group is a regional integrated operation service provider of the North Bund, which focuses on development, construction, and operation management, and helps the North Bund become an important showcase for the Chinese path to modernization. Currently, according to the regional development plans, the company will gradually expand its business sectors such as investment attraction, cultural tourism, and digital economy, based on existing urban renewal, project development, investment and financing, and asset operation. It will promote high-quality development in the North Bund area from multiple dimensions and create a new benchmark for the industry-city integration in the international metropolis.

Lu Ming stated that the introduction of the Finance and Investment Association by the North Bund Group to Hongkou meant that both sides would work closely together to help the North Bund achieve its initial success and fully rise and accelerate the construction of Shanghai’s International Financial Center. The signing of the strategic cooperation agreement is not only a two-way choice and mutual empowerment but also a beneficial exploration for Shanghai to build a joint governance and sharing platform for the construction of a global asset management and wealth center. It is also a beneficial exploration for the school and the district to achieve more comprehensive, deeper, and broader cooperation.
