Rainbow Space of North Bund Int’l Passenger Center to Debut

Looking up from the inside of the "Rainbow Space", you will see Sinar Mas Plaza.

The underground space of the North Bund International Passenger Center Scenic Area is nearly 4,000 square meters. After nearly a year of renovation and upgrading, it will finally debut with a brand-new identity and appearance. This underground space used to be the passenger hall of China's first cruise home port, but after upgrading, it became an art and living space with two independent exhibition halls: the Rainbow Space.

The "rainbow" in the rainbow space represents Hongkou, diversity, and hope. The Rainbow Space has an exhibition area of nearly 3,000 square meters, paired with multifunctional halls, salons, restaurants, souvenir shops, and other diverse contents, exploring more possibilities for art and life. Exhibition square, spiral staircase, endless dome... Every inch of space can be fully shaped, fully reflecting that beauty is a part of life.

In the future, the Rainbow Space will fully integrate with the frontline river scenery, water shows, waterfront spaces, green cultural spaces, etc. of the scenic area, inherit shipping culture, showcase art and culture, sponsor waterfront activities, introduce trendy lifestyle, bring more fashion shows, salon forums, brand distribution, brand flash events, and lead fashion landmarks and quality life.

Besides, the Rainbow Bridge located on the upper level of the Rainbow Space has taken on a new look, becoming a new landscape for tourists to take photos.
