Biyun Makes Its Debut on the North Bund

The wind comes from the east and clouds rise from the North Bund. On the morning of July 31, the Biyun North Bund project, located in the 135th block of the hk311-01 plot of Jiaxing Road Sub-district in Hongkou District, Shanghai, held a pile foundation ceremony for official construction. This is also the first project in the district to achieve "instant water and electricity connection upon construction".

The Biyun North Bund project, jointly developed by Jinqiao Group and North Bund Group, is a major engineering project in Hongkou District in 2023. The project is adjacent to the core area of the North Bund, approximately 1 kilometer away from the Huangpu River. It consists of two plots of No. 135 and 138 blocks, with a total area of over 30,000 square meters and a total aboveground construction area of approximately 54,000 square meters. The No. 135 block with a plot ratio of about 2.5 is planned to be constructed first, with four high-rise apartments and one multi-story affordable housing.

The Jinqiao "Biyun" brand is making its debut on the North Bund of Hongkou. The constructor will introduce the concept of green and low-carbon construction, and be committed to creating ultra-low energy buildings. At the same time, it will do a good job in urban renewal by implementing the concept of "creating high-quality life, attracting high-quality talents, and promoting high-quality development", and exploring new ways to balance historical style protection and urban renewal, based on the preservation and restoration of buildings, and guided by the inheritance and promotion of culture.

The relevant departments of the Hongkou District Government have made every effort to ensure service guarantees under the work requirements of "dedicated team working and responsibility". To assist in the "early start and early use" of the project, the district engineering construction project approval and review center actively provides service, leading the power company, water service company, and other units to conduct joint surveys in advance, jointly sorting out and optimizing the approval process for temporary water and electricity access, and help the project to have instant access to water and electricity before the official start of construction,  and effectively accelerating the project's progress.

With the construction of a batch of iconic projects such as the 480-meter new landmark at Block 91, the Huamao Center at Block 59, and Block 135, the development and construction of the North Bund has seen comprehensive momentum. Next, Hongkou District will continue to focus on the full lifecycle management of the major projects, further strengthen overall coordination and management services, continuously optimize the business environment, ensure that major engineering projects exert their functions according to the schedule, and form a phenomenon of seasonal construction with tower crane standing and pile foundation booming.
