During this spring festival, under the premise of guaranteeing the pandemic prevention and safety, Hongkou Cultural and Tourism Department highlighted the general tone of "confidence, safety, satisfaction, warmth and joy", launched a series of cultural and tourism products concerning the three characteristics of "high quality, Spring Festival ambience and online", carefully organized "Happy Spring Festival in Shanghai" and continuously optimized the experience of "online cultural and tourism", so that the spiritual and cultural life of citizens and tourists had been better satisfied. During the Spring Festival holiday, Hongkou’s scenic spots received 268,162 person times, a year-on-year increase of 30.06%.
Among them, the North Bund is still a online-popular place for citizens and tourists during holidays. According to statistics, during the Spring Festival holiday, the riverside section in Hongkou received 108,106 citizens and tourists, a year-on-year increase of 19.57%.
Major scenic spots, especially red scenic spots, were favored. 5A scenic spots normally received tourists, such as the Memorial Site of the 4th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Shanghai Lu Xun Museum, the Memorial Hall of the Left Wing League and the Former Residence of Martyr Li Bai. Shanghai Shanggang Cruise City, a 4A scenic spot, received about 67,628 tourists, with a year-on-year increase of 292.32%. The Shanghai Jewish Refugee Museum, a 3A scenic spot, received 2,564 tourists, with a year-on-year increase of 57.11%. Luxun Park received 176,229 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 1.42%. Shanghai Music Valley received 10,801 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 27.27%.
