Recently, citizen representatives including Lei Guoxing and others followed the Jiaxing Office of the Hongkou District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau to conduct a routine inspection on Marzano Pizza Shop in Hall of the Moon, Ruihong Tiandi (Shanghai). The citizen representatives not only visited the kitchen of the pizza shop and checked a series of documents of the shop, but also personally tested the number of microorganisms on the dinner plate and the acid value and peroxide value of the oil used in the restaurant, so as to determine whether it met the catering hygiene standards. The activity was broadcast live in the Tiktok Studio, and more than 200 online viewers watched the activity. This was the scene of the Open Month of the Hongkou District Government this year.
It is reported that in order to deepen the public participation, smooth the government-masses interaction and improve the soft power of the city, Hongkou District confirmed to take August as the Government Open month for the first time this year. Focusing on areas highly concerned by the society, such as optimizing the business environment, “One-stop Services”, “Unified Management”, fair supervision, the people's livelihood guarantee, public health and safety, Hongkou carried out a number of government opening-up activities with prominent themes, novel contents and various forms.
This year's government open month highlights the one unit with one feature. For example, Hongkou District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau organized citizen representatives to have on-site interaction with the enterprises participating in the excellent projects of the 7th Shanghai Entrepreneurship Rookie Selection Activity (Hongkou Competition), interpreted and consulted the entrepreneurship policies, and provided entrepreneurship guidance for representatives in need.
In the Open Month activities, citizen representatives fully felt the improvement of the function and management of the district government departments.
In the activity themed "Learning Civil Defense and Viewing Vicissitudes of Civil Defense" organized by the civil defense office, the people visited the venues of the Hongkou District Civil Defense Education and Training Base and experienced it through close contact and immersion. The earthquake, VR, lightening protection game and other projects let the residents immerse themselves into scenes, making them truly feel the harmfulness of natural disasters, the urgency of coping with disasters, and the effectiveness of learning handling skills.
Seven resident representatives who had participated in the Government Open Day of the Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau reviewed the history of waste classification in Shanghai, experienced the sofa, tables and chairs made of wastes, and had a new understanding of waste classification.
The government opening-up activities have further guaranteed the people's right to know, express, participate and supervise.
The Hongkou District Civil Affairs Bureau and Jiaxing Road Sub-district jointly held the "Government Open Day" activity, which invited nearly 20 resident representatives to visit the Jiaxing Road Sub-district No. 1 Sub-station of the Citizen Service Station. After the visit, the resident representatives made suggestions on the development of the citizen service station.
In the "Government Open Day" activity of North Sichuan Road Sub-district, the citizen representatives felt the convenience brought by "One-stop Services" and put forward reasonable opinions and suggestions on improving the service quality and service experience.
The Hongkou District Taxation Bureau of the State Administration of Taxation invited 10 taxpayers into the tax authorities to immerse themselves in the functions of online tax handling, self-service tax handling, intelligent consultation, tax-related body examination and face recognition. Zhang Meng, a financial staff, said after using the dual screen interactive tax handling terminal, "It is very suitable for tax personnel， because the people can not only watch and learn through the 'double screen', but also get the remote video connection guidance. We can adapt to the unfamiliar businesses quickly!"
