It is learned from Hongkou District Greening and Urban Appearance Administration that Shanghai is building 100 flower lanes characteristic with flowering trees and shrubs. Hongkou District connects seven important roads, including Quyang Park, No.1 Green Land at No. 300, Sanhe Road, Hailun Road and Changzhi Road to improve the urban landscape environment by forming area.

The flower paths focus on Chinese rose and crape myrtle, accompanied by varieties including hydrangea, begonia and cherry blossom, and realize the characteristics scenery of flower shrubs, full flowering and multiple flowering.

In five-star level Quyang Park, more than 200 Chinese roses and more than 500 European roses have been planted in the rose garden of about 400 square meters. White iron porch is set at the arch of the rose garden, and red Parkdirektor Riggers and white pink Rose Eden are cultivated to creating a dream-like and fragrant arched flower gallery. The shrub roses are planted according to different color systems such as yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, purple red, white and complex color. Flowers seem lush and beautiful. It is learnt that the flowering period will continue until October.

A large number of excellent Chinese rose varieties such as Angela and European rose are planted along several roads including Xinjian Road and Changzhi Road in Northern Bund to form luxuriant rose fence and rose wall in isolation zones. The optimization of road greening landscape takes the needs of vehicle sight and pedestrian viewing into account, pays attention to the rhythm and rhythmic effect of linear space, and makes the road space colorful.

In addition to Chinese rose, there are many kinds of flowers in the green space, and the combination among flower shrubs, flower boundary plants and trees complement each other. From mid-April to late May is the best appreciation period of the flowers for rhododendrons. Rhododendrons are planted in fields in green spaces including Lu Xun Park, Quyang Park flower lane of Hailun Road, which seems beautiful and colorful. No.1 Green Land at No. 300, Sanhe Road is a newly built pocket park in 2020. At present, Zoutao is being trimmed after blooming. In May and June, hydrangea will enter the flowering period. In combination with 16 varieties of land including Astilbe chinensis, Endless Summer and Hosta, the pocket park present an atmosphere of amusement and leisure and will be transformed into a good place for residents to have a rest during the renovation of Peace Park.

Hongkou District Greening and Urban Appearance Administration said that it would take the centenary of the party building as an opportunity to further improve the professional ability of greening, implement the important concept of "People's City" at a higher level and build an ecological Hongkou to satisfy the people.
