Hu Guangjie, Deputy Chief of the Hongkou District Party Committee and governor of Hongkou District, and Shi Baozhen, Chairman of the CPPCC District Committee, attended the ceremony and jointly unveiled the large-scaled stamp of 2021. The stamps of 2021 issued this time are the sixth set of the fourth round of Chinese Zodiac stamps, with 2 stamps in each set. They are named as "Hardworking" and "Good Luck in the Year of the Ox" respectively, showing the expectations of the country and families. On that day, the organizers also invited ten national and municipal labor models and advanced workers, including Yang Huaiyuan, Yuan Jiafu and Gu Haohao, who were born in 1937, 1949, 1961 and 1973, the years of the ox. They have the tenacity and diligence like ox, and vividly interpreted the spirit of "Serving the People, Innovating, Developing and Working Hard" advocated by general secretary Xi Jinping with their exemplary actions and noble qualities.
In order to embrace the coming New Year, Shanghai Philately General Company also issued a set of 2 commemorative covers for "Wan Xiang Geng Xin" and "Niu Zhuan Qian Kun", which were selected from the calligraphy work of "Wan Xiang Geng Xin" created by famous calligrapher Xu Yuanyuan and the traditional Chinese painting work of "Niu Zhuan Qian Kun" created by famous painter Xi Wenyuan. The two designers shared their feelings in the creation.
