The 1st Art Works Joint Exhibition of Teachers and Students in Golog Ethnic High School, sponsored by the Hongkou District Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Hongkou District Education Bureau, Golog Prefecture Education Bureau, Golog Ethnic High School in Qinghai Province and undertaken by the Hongkou District Youth Activity Center, has come to an end recently.
In this exhibition, more than 150 works of art creation by teachers and students of Golog Ethnic High School were on display, of which more than half of them were students' works. Works included photography, gouache, Thangka, Tibetan calligraphy, paper cutting, handicrafts and other forms of expression, which showed the ethnic art, promoted the plateau spirit, improved the artistic accomplishment and aesthetic taste of Golog’s teachers and students, and cultivated and guided the students to set up lofty ideals and realize their self-worth.
Over the years, Hongkou has always adhered to the aspiration of attaching importance to what Guoluo needs and doing what Hongkou can do. It has successively selected four groups of youth cadres to devote themselves to Golog Prefecture and fulfill the mission. At the opening ceremony, an official of Golog Ethnic High School presented Tibetan-unique Thang-ga painting works to the District Youth Activity Center to express the gratitude of Golog’s students and teachers.
In recent years, Hongkou has always adhered to the goal of running a satisfactory education for the Golog people. It has sent two groups of six cadres and talents to support the education in Golog. Aiding Qinghai has embraced the 10th year. Upon efforts, the poverty alleviation driven by education has gradually achieved a leap from the "basic guarantee" to the "quality improvement". From the policy design to the implementation mechanism, the education-related poverty alleviation policy system has gradually formed with its own characteristics, which provides a strong guarantee for the overall poverty alleviation campaign.
