Emergency Rescue Knowledge Sent to Construction Sites

On November 18, the District Red Cross Society and the District Construction Management Committee jointly sponsor the activity of sending "Emergency Rescue Training" to construction sites at the North Bund.

Lin Jian, chief physician of the Department of Orthopaedic Trauma, Shanghai First People's Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is invited to carry out self-rescue and mutual rescue skills training in the form of combining theory with practice for multiple injuries and compound injuries that are prone to occur on construction sites. It is hoped that through training, we can reduce disability and save lives.

It is reported that since July this year, the District Red Cross Society has actively promoted the cooperation of community, campus and hospital. According to needs of enterprises and the masses, it integrates the Red Cross core service project, the emergency rescue training, with the Party building activities, so as to boost the development and construction of the North Bund and promote the eco-social development of Hongkou.
