The third China International Import Expo (CIIE) has come to an end. On November 13, the Hongkou Trading Sub-group of the CIIE, together with 11 key exhibitors, held a three-day extended exhibition in Yueliangwan, Ruihong Tiandi. Russia's ice cream same as Putin's, France's 280-year-old Bordeaux red wine, Australia's well-known cheese, Brazil's online-popular cheese ball, Spanish ham slice of black pig, German century-old biscuit, Japan's limited-edition Coca Cola for the Olympic Games, Italy's high-quality sparkling wine and so on, nearly 100 kinds of commodities from 12 countries were displayed. Hongkou’s residents could enjoy delicious CIIE food near homes.

just concluded third CIIE was the world's largest offline international
exhibition this year, with an exhibition area of nearly 30,000 square meters
more than that of the previous one. There were also hundreds of new products,
new technologies and new services that debuted in
The activity presented the characteristics of high quality, affordable prices and wide channels. The high-quality exhibits of the CIIE turned to commodities, which entered the trendy commercial circle and got access to the people's life. The organizer launched the exhibition area of national presents for the first time. On the spot, the exhibition area for the CIIE star products in endorsement and recommendation of state leaders and prime ministers was specially set up, including Blue Mountain Coffee recommended by Jamaican Prime Minister Hollis to national leaders at the 2nd CIIE, green mango jerky signed and recommended by President of Uganda, and the national gift of Iceberry Ice Cream from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Hongkou CIIE Gifts were also developed in the activity. The main products and star products of the exhibitors were carefully selected. Consumers could take away the gifts at preferential prices. For example, 8 kinds of foods from different countries, such as Jamaica's instant coffee, Russia's ice cream and Span's red wine, totally cost RMB198, which gained high popularity among the consumers.
The activity was promoted through online channel and offline channel. The organizer, together with the head food blogger - matrix IP of Eclipse, used new media and new business types for the promotion of the CIIE food and linked online and offline, so that more citizens could share the bonus from the CIIE.
