"When AED (automatic external defibrillator) is detecting a self-rescue object’s heart rate, it is necessary to keep the onlookers away as far as possible, so as not to affect the test result.". In the publicity activity of the world first aid day held by the District Red Cross Society (DRCS) on September 11, the DRCS emergency rescue teacher volunteers demonstrate the use of AED for the public, and teach the public how to carry out self-help and mutual rescue in case of accidental injury.
The International Federation of Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) have designated the second Saturday in September every year as the world first aid day since 2000, in order to further spread the knowledge and concept of rescue and promote the emergency rescue work.
