Baopu Art Museum Celebrates the 1st Anniv.

The International Museum Day falls on May 18 when Baopu Art Museum on the North Bund celebrates its 1st anniversary.
Located at No. 58, Haiping Road, the Museum, that stays simple and pure and pursues a smooth and steady progress, has a total area of about 1,700 square meters, and has collected more than 1,000 important contemporary art works. It is aimed to collect modern and contemporary classic works of art. Thus, there are dozens of categories including porcelain, cloisonne, jade, calligraphy and painting, Suzhou embroidery, clay pot, to name a few. Besides the exhibition, visitors can enjoy the views on both sides of Huangpu River in the open-air zone of the F2 Exhibition Hall of the Museum.
By now, the Museum is trying to apply the most advanced VR tech and AR tech to collect important exhibits and offer online exhibitions in a bid to serve the public at home. In the future, it may draw support from riverside night landscapes to introduce the Night Art Museum.
