With issuing the "Shanghai Work Guidelines on Production Resumption of Food and Beverage Service Industry" (the 2nd version), the catering businessmen of the district's major shopping malls usher into business resumption, and take measures for COVID-19 control, in order to enable customers to enjoy meals and boost consumers’ confidence.
Located on the F3 of Ruihong Tiandi Hall of the Moon, a chain restaurant sets up an eye-catching sign at the delivery waiting area. On the long table there is wash-free sanitizer, temperature measuring gun, the Shanghai QR code and other items. And there are seats on the side to facilitate delivery men to take a rest. When delivery men pick up orders, the waiting-area staff will take temperature for them, spray disinfectant water on their gloves, scan the Shanghai QR code, and register their information. When the take-out food is packed and delivered from the store to the waiting area, the staff will stick a take-out card on the packing bag, which clearly identifies the name and temperature of food producers, food packers and delivery men. At last, the food will be taken by delivery men upon non-contact distribution throughout the whole process.
A bakery in the Hall of the Moon requires each employee, especially the bakery staff, to wear a mask, to measure temperature more than twice a day, and to wash hands upon disinfection before entering the baking room. It is warm for the bakery to offer delivery men bread for breakfast. In addition, the bakery is disinfected every 2 hours, including all the equipment inside and outside, as well as floors, tables, chairs and the surface of showcase.
Through public accounts, the Hall of the Moon registers on the third-party take-out platform area to promote the consumption and to help catering restaurants resume business as soon as possible.
