Porcelain Sculpture Performance by Porcelain Master on Duolun Rd

Zhou Chengming, a master of porcelain sculpture and hand painting, showed his wonderful artistic skills in the craftsman workshop on Duolun Road.

Zhou Chengming, a porcelain master from Zibo City, Shandong Province, showed his porcelain carving skills on colored glaze ware to visitors. His wonderful skills impressed all visitors. Zhou, as a famous master of applied arts in Shandong Province, began to study artistic porcelain carving skills since 1995, and created his own style and concepts for modeling and graphic design. His works cover several categories, including landscape, figures, flowers and birds. He follows diversified manifestation approaches and uses different carving skills to create art works. He’s particularly good at carving on porcelain plates, bottles, cups, pots and colored glaze wares.

This porcelain carving performance is a part of a joint exhibition for art masters in Shanghai. Several other exhibitions for colored glaze wares, paintings, calligraphy and porcelain works, have been held before. This campaign aims to inherit national craftsmanship and promote traditional Chinese culture and international art exchange.
