With the phone hanging on, police can transfer it to the Squad, and notify the bank immediately to temporarily freeze the account of potential victim. For the police, they race against a phone call’s time to safeguard citizens’ property. In July last year, police of Jiaxing Road Police Station managed to save people’s property of RMB700,000 by cycling 6 km, which is the real effect of the linkage mechanism.
