An Urban Narrative Exhibition Held

The first Urban Narrative Exhibition of Chinese Contemporary Art from 1995 to 2019 themed on keep moving has been recently held at Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art.
Themed on keep moving, the Exhibition focuses on artists’ journey of walking, roaming and progressing on urban streets. Researching the intersection of public space and contemporary art practice, it focuses on the practice of Chinese contemporary art themed on urban streets since the mid-1990s. The contemporary art works created by 17 artists, including paintings, photography, images, sculptures, installations, etc., will be displayed inside the Museum and at Duolun Road during the Exhibition.
In addition, it is the first time for the Archive of "62761232 Express Delivery Exhibition" to meet with the public at the national art gallery. Initiated by Shanghai Biz-art Center, a special take-out exhibition was carried out in September 2004, which was participated in by 42 artists and 15 delivery men. Thus, the Shanghai citizens can bring the exhibition in a suitcase home by calling the delivery men.
Aiming at re-upgrading the art aesthetic education, the Urban Narrative Exhibition accesses the public into the art gallery with more and better experience, so as to constantly improve the inner aesthetic and humanistic quality of the public and enhance the development potential of Duolun Road Block. It is opened to the public free of charge from now on to December 15.
